Head Coach of KC Junior Blues Rugby Casey Cummings

The Jr. Blues are led by head coach, Casey Cummings who is in his second year serving as head coach. Coach Casey played 15 years with the Sr. Blues and is now an assistant coach with the side. He was selected for the U-17 and U-18 National team player at scrumhalf, and has played competitively in England, Ireland, Wales, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.  Casey also played for the KC Jr. Blues Rugby from 2004-2008.  As Head Coach, we can count on Casey to train and mentor our players, to become the best in the country.

Matt Wirken

Forwards Coach

Matt Wirken started his rugby career with the Jr. Blues in the spring of 2008 during his Senior Year at Rockhurst High School. He went on to play for the Sr. Blues from the fall of 2008 - Present. In that time he also played at Lindenwood University and professional rugby with several teams in Major League Rugby.
